APPLICATION: The single shank mounting allows producers
to configure cutters for any row spacing as well as stack stalkcutter
in line to obtain a double cutter. The 6 blade stalkcutter is
generally more useful in cutting stalks, while the 8 blade unit
is often used incorporating chemicals.
DESCRIPTION: Individual stalkcutters are mounted with a single
1 x 3 rigid shank. Cutting reels are 16" wide and can be
6 or 8 blade units. The reinforced yolk is constructed from 1/2
x 5 material steel, and supported with 1-1/4" Dodge The
close end design flange block bearings reduces soil exposure
thus increasing seal life and reducing bearing replacement cost.
CUSTOM MANUFACTURED UNITS: In stock units are available in
3" offset on the shanks, but we will manufacture units to
your particular needs. Shanks can be welded on reel frames
at an angle which provides additonal incorporating capabilities
as well as preventing reels from becoming in time when stacked
